A mother's love is conditional
The notion of people has not changed at all from time, in the ancient times we have read from the Bible and articles of great people how the world has been operating, nothing about people has changed but the manner in which we lead our lives now is what is changed. Technology has made the world global, we see things clearer and nearer than before, in ancient times people fought war, massacre, destruction and immorality had always been the order of the day. That's why Thomas Hobbes in his book, The Leviathan, opted for a social contract and rule by an absolute sovereign. He wrote that the brute situation of a state of nature(the war of all against all) could be avoided by a strong undivided government. Here you can see that from time emeritus that the concept of war is inevitable to man, because man in his state of nature is greedy,selfish and power seeking.
