Widening Horizons

We widen our horizons most times in the wrong things
We want to grow in the wrong way
Our country Nigeria is backwards today because every one is thinking of the national cake
For instance, according to Leslie White, "the primary function of culture is to harness and control energy."
He went on to differentiate the stages of energy in human development as follows, first, human use their own muscles, second, we use the  energy of domesticated animals, third, we use the energy of plants, fourth, we learn to use the energy of natural resources like coal, oil and gas etc and in the fifth place, the use of nuclear energy.
Thus, culture evolves as the amount of energy harnessed per capita per year is increased.
If we don't harness these energies around us, how are we going to grow
Look at our schools now
What are they teaching our children?
Is there more of science?
Is there more of human evolution?
The world now is on the fifth stage of human development
This is not the time to use only our muscles
Or domesticated animals or natural resources
Because the work load has increased vehemently
It's time to combine nuclear energy,
Plant energy, animal energy and our own energy in order to grow
Don't just buy
How about You create.
Let's start to build
We all want to see the world
Live in glass houses
Buy the best of things
But we are not curious about how that magnificent building was erected.
How can one be that intelligent
You think you can't be too?
Of course yes!
We have to give up some things in order to create something new,
I always say, that is a difference between a sound producer and the sound machine creator
Yes u can play drums
But how about the person that created the drum you are playing?
Who is bigger and much more intelligent
Don't get me wrong both are intelligent, but the creator of the sound instrument is much more superior to the sound producer because without the former, what would the latter do.
Let's aim at creating, inventing
While others use our invention to create.
Nigeria has not created that opportunity but we don't have to wait for her to do everything for us, let's push her( Nigeria) while she supports.
I pray for Nigeria

I pray for our future.
