THE RIGHT KINDA OF SIN
The right kinda sin
Everyone debates on this topic like everyday every time
The right kind of sin
My first observation is, as a Christian
I mean from the biblical standard of being called a Christian, sex is only for married people.
Secondly, marriage is between a man and a woman
Thirdly, sin is sin
Now all these, is meant to be upheld by my fellow Christian brothers and sisters.
Every Christian is damaged in this society right now.
And we are not ready to repent because we will lose that which is most valuable to us, "Our worldly possessions."
We all have that one sin we cannot let go
The sin has become a part of us, that we coin a new way to address it. Make it look none less sinful.
Take for instance, let me use the most common things around us, ADULTERY.
Luckily some of us are fortunate to not fall under this category of sin.
And here is another one, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.
Unluckily most of us don't even know what this means.
Okay, now here are two commandments from the ten God gave us, thus, if a man in marriage goes committing adultery and his wife the faithful one stays home worrying about him and at the same time serially maltreating her maid, how do you think God will judge that?
Or is one sin bigger than the other?
Do you think the adulterous man is as sinful as the wicked woman?
That's your home work.
We navigate our emotions to suit sin and we play around it and come cry wolf when someone else does exactly the same thing another way, and it totally doesn't go our way.
The Law of the land has no emotions
But the commandment does.
The laws we have now, allow people to be killed, robbed, taken away, beaten and all sorts.
When Jesus said let he without a sin be first to cast a stone, it covered all aspect of our lives as Christ Like.
We believe we are practicing
At least that's what you believe.
But are you?
Christianity is more than a religion
It's life itself.
Not all crimes are sins
And not all sins are crimes
If the law of the land does not appoint you to be judge, you cannot judge.
And God already told you not to judge, so why are you judging again?
Interesting! Nice article... Both the man and the woman are committing sin.. but Adultery is just something else, It is a sin against body and soul.. In 1st Corinthians 6: 18-20 the bible says "Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?.. "..... Sin is sin, there is no great or small sin but "sin of the flesh" is something every man should avoid through prayer because it is has done more harm than good to the society.. It has destroyed a lot of homes.. Nowadays some people don't even value relationships if Sex is not involved... As a man i know that most men hardly keep to commitment in a relationship because they know that they can easily have sex whenever they want to... As for the act of wickedness which is equally a sin as well, I believe love is the key...
ReplyDeleteMost people would rather find a way to try and convince you that, it's no sin to commit adultry or fornication. Bribery has also find a way to get into limelight (because you brought a customer or gave me a contract, I must give you a percentage). It's a crazy world we live in.
